Peter Inglis - Guitarist
Performances - 1977 - Silver Cord - or Dr. Walker and the Amazing Undercover Sharks.
In 1977 Silver Cord - also known sometimes as Hermitage
gigged as our version of that 1970's phenomenom - the
"Super Group".
A "Super Group" came into being when stars from any number
of famous bands would come together for a gig or recording.
Well we weren't famous or 'stars' either - but what the hey - ! - so we became for one night only -
Dr. Walker and the Amazing
With the addition of local John Bonham specialist Dave Brown on drums and we did a whole lotta Led Zeppelin on this particular night.... plus the usual Kiss, Stones, Bad Company ( !!! ) - one Queen number...
Dave Neideck takes a bass solo with Dr. Walker trading licks on his monophonic Roland synth. At that time there were no polyphonics on the market! No memory either, all programs had to be set by hand.
Trusty Ibanez Les Paul copy. |
