John Williams - A.Barrios Mangore: El Ultimo Tremolo

My comments:

This piece has a few names - "El Ultimo Tremolo", "El Ultima Cancion" and "Una LImosnita por Amor de Dios".

Magnificent example of tremelo melody playing. Note the musical ritards, the eveness, and balance of voices. Oh yes, and he is playing it:
  • out of doors
  • ... in a huge amphitheatre (always terrible acoustically for the performer)
  • ... to about 5,000 people
... as opposed to "in his bedroom, at home, to the cat" .... unlike many of the guitarists you will see on www.youtube.com. !
