John Williams - Cavatina - Bryn Terfel and John Williams

My comments:

Definitely one of the most requested pieces in the solo guitar repertoire, listen to this master vocalist deliver the melody!

Williams plays a basic arpeggiated accompaniment, as you should when there is a violin / vocal / flute taking the tune.

Note Williams sense of ensemble, as he follows the vocalist' ritardandos (slackening of tempo). This is a good demonstration of Williams professional ease in a huge variety of ensemble settings, and something you can never learn by playing alone.
