June 4th - 7th, 2008 - Wounding Song - Opera with Guitar!

I had a couple of weeks intensive rehearsal for the world premiere of Jeff Galea's brand new opera: "Wounding Song" on June 4th 2008 at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre.

Guitar fans will be interested because the Opera not only features guitar, which makes it unusual, but it features guitar as the central instrument in the orchestra! This is possibly a world first.

In the hands of capable composers like Jeff Galea the guitar has a bright future!
